So many of you have been requesting to have meet up group once every month to talk in Farsi and practice what we know and learn more. I completely agree with everyone who wants to meet up, I am organizing a Saturday in August to have our first meeting and all my students and others that are interested to join us are more than welcome. We should already know that by adding letter م you will show the belonging to yourself for example if you want to say “my book” you will say:

کتاب + م = کتابم

This is the same as saying کتاب من so both are correct to use.

Ok now let’s try saying the following:

My pencil …………………….

My table ……………………..

My teacher ………………….

My umbrella ………………….

My cup ………………………

New words that you might now know

Umbrella: چتر

Table: میز

Cup: لیوان

Ok now we going to learn the rest, by end of this lesson you should be able to say

The only way to learn these is by practicing as soon as you learn all then you can use it with different words.

My book کتاب + م = کتابم

Your book کتاب + ت= کتابت

His/her book کتاب + ش= کتابش

Our book کتاب + مان = کتابمان

Your book کتاب +تان= کتابتان

Their book کتاب +شان= کتابشان

Ok now let’s finish the last part of our lesson. We already know how to make plural, is that right. I remind you if you have forgotten by adding ها or ان for example

Books will be کتابها, women will be زنان or زنها. Now let’s say “my books” same way as we have practiced already کتابها+م if you try to read this is not very easy to make it easy we always add letter ی before       کتابها+یم=کتابهایم
