British Museum had organised family weekend because of Iranian New Year which was on Friday 20th of March. I spent a day at the museum and I truly can say how lovely the event was, there were a lot to do for kids and adults. Every two hours there was story telling of Shahnameh which was amazing. I felt really touched hearing the traditional music and seeing all the stories.

Kids that are living abroad are missing alot on finding out about Persian culture and on a day like Saturday and Sunday last week, that will make a difference to their knowledge and understanding of their culture.

Khobin, there is only two weeks left to Iranian New Year. This year British Museum has family event for the new year on 21st and 22nd of March which is open to public. I am sure all my students that have been learning Farsi with Ey-Yar.net will be going to the event to practice more their Farsi and see the event.

All the families in Iran and other countries already have started spring cleaning and preparing the Haft Seen for the New Year. This is one of the biggest event in our Calendar and probably the only time of the year that you will to get to see all members of your family.
